Ph.D., Head of the Computer Graphics Laboratory at the Moscow State University. I have been teaching courses on computer graphics and video compression/processing techniques since 1997.
Creator of popular websites dedicated to video processing and compression algorithms (https://compression.ru/video , https://videoprocessing .github.io /, https://videoprocessing.ai I specialize in research in the field of video compression algorithms, modern methods of quality measurement and digital video processing.
The most well-known public projects include annual comparisons of video codecs, reports on the technical quality of stereo films, and video processing benchmarks. I have led more than 40 commercial projects with Intel, Cisco, Real Networks, Samsung, Huawei, Broadcom, and others.
Excluding editors, I am No. 1 author on Habr in the hubs "AR and VR", "Artificial Intelligence", "Working with video" and "Video Technology". I participated in the launch of six startups, four of which are over 15 years old.
I believe in the future of sparse light fields and that all video will become four-dimensional by the end of the century. I doubt the intelligence of Homo Sapiens.
