Alexander Konshin

Heads the Computer Vision team at the streaming service IVI.

Alexander graduated from the Technical University in Bryansk as a software engineer and started his career as a backend developer in 2012. He worked on the Rambler Kassa ticketing service at Rambler&Co. In 2016 he became interested in machine learning and joined a startup where he created a mobile AR app for trying on glasses from scratch.

At Ivi since 2018, he has been analyzing videos and generating promotional content using Computer Vision and Deep Learning. He has developed services for video upscaling, generating synthetic posters, highlights, and searching the internal content of movies.

Alexander has a passion for music writing and music production, and is interested in generating music using Deep Learning models.
