Andrey Dugin

Andrey graduated from Bauman Moscow State Technical University with a degree in Radio Engineering. He has more than 10 years of experience in the telecom industry on projects of mobile operators in Russia, Europe, USA and Latin America.

Since 2015 Andrey has been engaged in Data Science and CV. Head of the MTS AI video analytics group (Team Lead / Tech Lead). Together with his team, he develops computer vision solutions, including solutions for the KION streaming service, such as skipping screensavers and titles, Super Resolution, recognising actors in the frame, determining where to insert adverts, and generating posters.
